Over the viral infection

I am still alive guys. Just very busy at the moment.

Discovered the exchange currency rate for the British Pound was at its all time lowest today and decided to seize the opportunity to get The Chain, a photography book (photos of patients kept chained together in a Taiwanese mental institution) i have been eyeing for a long time but too reluctant to purchase because the exchange rate was too high.

Then i also realized that the US dollar was incredibly weak, and i started to extrapolate my thoughts (very very bad). In the end, i renewed all my magazine subscriptions  just to benefit from the low currency rate. I also started print subscriptions to several medical journals because dude, the student prices are waaay lower than the resident/physician prices, and i will cease to be a student at the end of this year. In other words, killed two birds with one stone.

Instead of feeling elated, i actually felt a bit sickened.

I need to reel in my splurges even if they were for a good cause.

  1. sore throat is not a lot of fun its just uncomfortable and difficult to swallow.

usually, i would take the Nim Jiom Cough Syrup (www.geocities.jp/ninjiom_hong_kong/index_e.htm ) which has a thick consistency formulation. it coats the throat and includes herbs that are particularly good for that application.

i hope it works on you as well.
